Zinox Group empowers ICT media entrepreneurs with Social Media training in Lagos

In a significant show of support and commitment to the ICT media sector, Zinox Group, a leading African ICT solutions provider, organised a three-day Social Media Training for over 20 selected ICT media entrepreneurs and online publishers in Lagos.

The initiative was aimed at enhancing participants’ ability to leverage social media platforms and tools to grow their  businesses online, expand their reach  and generate revenue for business sustainability.

In his opening remarks and welcome address, at the 3-day training which began on Monday Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman Zinox Group, who emphasised the crucial role ICT media has played in advancing Nigeria’s ICT ecosystem and in supporting stakeholders. He described the training programme as not only a gesture of appreciation but also a way of giving back to the ICT media space.

Dr. Ekeh commended the media’s contributions over the years and reaffirmed his commitment to helping ICT media professionals improve their skills, scale their businesses, and maximise profitability.

The Programme was facilitated by key executives from Zinox Group including:  Ayobami Agbedi, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Marketing; Mark Darlington Ibeleme, Head of Marketing; and Chimezie Orisakwe, Head of Corporate and Marketing.

The training sessions covered a wide range of contemporary topics. These include emerging social media trends, amongst other topics and methods for monetising digital content.

Participants were actively engaged with insights and case studies shared by the facilitators, while gaining practical knowledge crucial for navigating today’s dynamic digital media landscape.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the ICT media entrepreneurs and online publishers, Mr. Kenneth Ugbechie, Publisher of Politicaleconomist.com.ng, praised Zinox Group and Dr. Ekeh for consistently recognising and supporting the media over the years, describing the social media training as another concrete demonstration of the company’s dedication to empowering media practitioners and called on other industry stakeholders who have benefited from ICT media advocacy to emulate Zinox Group’s example and support the ICT media growth in the country by actively fostering the growth and sustainability of the country’s digital media landscape.
