Lagos CAN urges Christians to register in Continuous Voters Registration

Admin February 7, 2018

February 7, 2018

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State Chapter, on Wednesday urged Christians to take the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration seriously so as to vote for candidates of their choices during 2019 elections.

Apostle Alexander Bamgbola, the Chairman, Lagos State Chapter of CAN, made the plea at a news conference to announce the forthcoming Inter-Denominational Divine Service (IDDS) at Hoares Memorial Methodist Church, Yaba.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that theme of the 2018 IDDS is entitled: “Humility in Service”.

It will hold on Feb. 17 at the Shepherd Hill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, Lagos.

Bamgbola urged all Christians who have attained the voting age to register and obtain their voter cards.

“This is to remind every true Christian of voting age, which is 18 years and above in the state of Lagos to please go and register and obtain his or her voting card.

“Registration has been extended.

“It is now mandatory for every Christian of voting age in Lagos to obtain a voters card.

“ Be prepared to vote in the next 2019 general elections for candidates of your choice,” he said.
