Madam Bolu Imoh, the wife of Dave Imoh, the sound engineer killed and burnt by Hausa Okada riders in Lekki area of Lagos on Sunday has cried out for help.

All over social media, Nigerians are demanding #JusticeforDave and asking the Inspector General of Police to investigate and prosecute the murderers.

They are also asking Lagos State government why it has allowed Okada riders to take over Lagos after they were formally banned from certain parts of the state.

In a video trending on twitter, the widow was seen, two hands over her head and in obvious emotional distress, crying for help.

“I have just finished my PDG, hoping to start my Masters and get my COREN as an engineer, that is the plan who had in this family before they killed my husband.

“How do I pay my children’s school fees, where do I live? My husband is the only one helping me… Please help me, help me,” she was seen crying.

The late Dave Imoh

Dave, a sound Engineer in Lagos said to be on his way to an event at Admiralty area of Lekki. He on the same motorbike (Okada) with a keyboardist named Philip.

They were said to have had an argument with the bike man, an Hausa man over N100 which resulted in a fight.

The argument attracted other bike riders who in solidarity with their kinsman started beating Dave with cudgels, stones and other dangerous weapons.

The video showed passersby running commentary on the beating but never stepping forward to rescue Dave from the hands of the mob.
