The Kaduna State Governor, Nasiru El-Rufai, has arrived at the residence of the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi.

Governor El-Rufai arrived at Sanusi’s residence on Friday afternoon.

The governor had earlier tweeted that he was on his way to visit the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, in Awe, Nasarawa State.

The deposed Emir is a close friend of Governor El-Rufai.

Recall that El-Rufai recently appointed Sanusi as the Pro-chancellor of the Kaduna State University, KASU, and also made him the Vice-Chairman of the state’s investment board, KADIPA.

This was after Sanusi was dethroned and banished by the Kano State government.
