Christians face mass sack at Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State

Admin August 17, 2016

fudma logoThe Buhari administration persecution of Christians in Nigeria is currently going on at the Federal University Dutsin-Ma in Katsina State where the new Vice Chancellor Prof. I. I. Funtua has commenced a mass sack of Christian staff employed by the former Christian Vice Chancellor Prof. James O. I. Ayatse.

The sacked staff were the pioneers of the university who sacrificed to put the institution on good standing  at a time most of the Muslims were  refusing to take up appointment because they had no faith in the university surviving.

The new Vice Chancellor, reports say, had on several occasions threatened that by the time he will be done, there will not be any trace of Christians on the campus or remembrance that a Christian was ever a Vice Chancellor in the University.

The unprecedented situation in the university, according to our source,  is such that the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and the Governing Council Chair are all indigenes of Katsina State against the principle of federal character.

The fate of the few remaining Christian staff are hanging on uncertainties as they are being closely monitored from  speaking out.  Association with ASUU or any form of unionism is also not allowed in the university, our investigation revealed.
