B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: Kidnapped Anambra commissioner, wife regain freedom

Admin August 17, 2024

Anambra State Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Aghamba, and his wife kidnapped Friday by gunmen have been released.

They were released barely 24 hours after their abduction. The couple was said to be stable at the time of their released.

Political Economist NG reports that an aide of the commissioner identified as Kpajie ABK Offiah,  a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), who was travelling with them, was shot dead by the gunmen.

They were reportedly attacked on their way to Abuja for the wedding of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s daughter billed for Saturday, August 17th.
