Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as “Wizkid” on Monday gave out cash gifts to children in the suburb of Makoko and Surulere in Lagos.

The multi-award winning star was seen in Surulere and Makoko distributing money to children and youths while they sing his praise.

Wizkid, who is known to have grown up in Surulere, visited the place, accompanied by some armed men and some youths.

This was in fulfilment of a promise he made earlier on his Instagram page, when he announced plans to gift N100 million to children for Christmas.

He further disclosed on his Instagram page that he was doing this in honour of his late mum, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died on August 18, 2023. (NAN)
