Hours after the Senate adjourned President Muhammadu Buhari through his Chief of Staff and Adviser on Senate matters, Senator Ita Enang, finally submitted a list of his ministerial nominees to the Senate. This was confirmed by Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, in a tweet late Wednesday.
By this move, the President has kept his word on the ministerial nominees which he promised would be out before the end of September. The Senate had earlier promised to expeditiously treat the list but going by the undercurrents in the Senate as regards its leadership, the confirmation of the ministers may take a little longer with even more detailed scrutiny.
