Okorocha is a ‘diaper-wearing creature, Fani-Kayode lashes out at Imo Governor for claiming Buhari is not on life support

Admin June 30, 2017

These are the days of the long knives for public office holders and social commentators over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health. This time former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode  lashed out at Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, describing him as a “diaper wearing creature” for insisting that President Muhammadu Buhari is not on life support.

There had been speculation that the President’s health had deteriorated recently but his media handlers released a Sallah message recorded in Hausa which they bandied as the President’s message to Nigerians. In the said audio message, the President was slurring in speech and his voice was barely firm, a situation that heightened the apprehension.

Ekiti State Governor, the fiery Ayodele Fayose was the first to take on the messengers of the message dismissing them as poor strategists as according to him, the audio message gave the President away as someone on life support. He alleged that Buhari had been on life support in London for 20 days.

But dismissing Fayose’s claim, Okorocha urged Nigerians to ignore his Ekiti State counterpart, whom he described as a “cheap talker.”

But Okorocha’s rebuttal of Fayose provoked a strong reaction from Fani-Kayode who scolded Fayose for failing to understand that Nigerians have the right to know the truth about Buhari’s health status.

The former Minister, who took to his twitter handle wrote: “When a courageous @GovAyoFayose tells u @MBuhari is in a coma and diaper-wearing @GovernorRochas tells u it is a lie u know who to believe.

“What this lying, diaper-wearing creature cannot comprehend is that the people HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW THE TRUTH about @MBuhari’s condition.”
