Suspect arrested at Isolo in Lagos

The police in Lagos have arrested a man for allegedly wanting to disrupt voting at a polling unit at Ilamose Estate in Oke Afa area of Isolo.

According to a witness, at about 8.10 am, in Ilamose Estate Oke Afa Isolo some persons suspected to be criminals drove in a mini bus marked NIGERIA STUDENTS UNION and came to disrupt voting and chase away over 60 voters that had gathered.

The police personnel on ground reportedly chased after them from the Jakande Estate Gate area

As the suspects drove to a roadblock on a street, some of them jumped off the mini bus as the police van followed them hotly.

The escaping suspects suddenly made a detour in their bus forcing the police personnel to shot at their bus which managed to zoom off the arena.

However, luck ran out of the two suspects who jumped off the bus as the police caught him and got him handcuffed.

The suspect was driven away in a police van.
