Mourinho to Pocket 40m Pounds for Chelsea Sack

Admin December 17, 2015

West Ham United v Chelsea - Barclays Premier LeagueChelsea have sacked Jose Mourinho as boss after a disastrous domestic slump that saw the Blues go from champions to relegation possibilities in seven months. He will pocket about 40 million Pounds for the termination of his appointment.

Guus Hiddink is set to be appointed as interim boss by Roman Abramovich and co as the club sit 16th in the Premier League.

Mourinho has NEVER completed more than three seasons at a club , and so it was again.

The seven month downfall started in the summer , with the sale of Cech and a delayed return to pre-season, and ended with his departure at 2pm today.

On the day that super-agent Jorge Mendes saw one of his biggest clients renounce approximately £30million in wages, he has appeared at a press conference alongside another of his big name clients, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Real Madrid man is set to answer questions after he talks about his investment in the Pestana hotel group and one would wager that a certain Mr Mourinho’s name may come up.

Jose Mourinho was in no doubt over his ability as a football manager – right up until the bitter end of his Chelsea tenure.

Speaking in his final ever TV interview as Blues boss, with the Clare Balding Show on BT Sport which airs this evening, the Portuguese sensationally claimed he was “better than he thought” when assessing his now-former side’s current predicament.

As you can imagine, Chelsea’s Cobham training ground has been besieged by all kids of photographers and the like. Heck, there was even a helicopter doing the rounds, as Arnie Pye was knocking around.

But here’s the moment when Mourinho left, shying away from the camera for possibly the first time ever…
