‘Ikenga: The Last Festival’ has become the highest-grossing Igbo-language film of all time in West Africa, grossing N103.4 million.
FilmOne Entertainment announced the milestone in a post on its official Instagram page on Tuesday, describing the film as a record-breaking Igbo title.
FilmOne thanked Nigerian audiences for contributing to the film’s achievement and said Ikenga: The Last Festival was still showing in cinemas nationwide.
The film, which features an ensemble cast, explores themes of power, legacy and tradition.
