Fulani Herdsmen Abduct Auditor in Enugu, Demand Ransom

fulani herdsmenAn auditor with the Enugu State Government has been abducted, Gestapo style, by armed men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen along the Nsukka-Adani express way. The abductors have reportedly made contact are have demanded a ransom of N5 million from the family.

Mr. Ogbobe Stephen a native of Ukpabi Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Council area of Enugu State, was said to have travelled home  but he was kidnapped on his way back to Nsukka after the meeting last weekend.

He and six occupants of the vehicle were reportedly flagged down by their assailants. They were ordered to lie face down, tied up hands and legs, before they were dragged into the bush.

Wife of the victim, Mrs. Ogbobe, who disclosed this to newsmen Monday said she was informed of the kidnap of her husband by one of the people that travelled to the village with him.

She said they were yet to report the matter to the report.
