Catholic Group announces week-long programme, says committed to wholesome devt. of persons

The Justice Development and Peace Centre (JDPC), of the Holy Family Catholic Church Festac, has announced its week-long programme tagged: ‘JDPC WEEK 2025’.

The group made the announcement in a press conference on Sunday, to announce the activities for the Week, beginning Monday, June 30 through to July 6, 2025.

Speaking on the programme, the Coordinator of the group, Mr. Modestus Osuala said the group is committed to the overall wholesome development of the human person, without any form of discrimination.

According to him, the Week will feature activities around the three of the group’s six thematic areas, to include: Democracy and Good Governance, Health,and Human Rights, Prison Welfare/ Legal Aid Programme.

“We are extending invitation to members of the public to join us as we continue to work for the overall good of the human person”, Osuala said.

Political Economistng reports that the JDPC is a Faith based organisation within the Catholic church through which it responds to social issues as it affects us all.
