Joshua Rogers
Abducted Channels Television reporter in Rivers State, Joshua Rogers has been released and has since rejoined his family. The TV station confirmed this in its 10pm news bulletin.
Rogers was whisked away Thursday night in front of his residence in Rumuosi, Port Harcourt.
He was said to be driving his official Channels Television branded car when the hoodlums accosted him, pointed a gun and took him away in the same vehicle.
He was said to be returning from his official assignment in Government House after a trip to Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area for a government event when the incident happened.
The gunmen later contacted his wife, demanding a N30million ransom for his release.
