BBNaija: Viewers shade organisers on Kaisha eviction, fault voting process

Kaisha...Evicted

Kaisha…Evicted

The eviction of Kaisha (Aisha Umaru)  a 25-year-old entrepreneur from Sokoto state from the Big Brother Lockdown House on Sunday night has sparked outrage from fans of the reality TV show who condemned the new voting system of jettisoning votes from viewers for votes from housemates.

This has prompted a hashtag on twitter #BringBackOldVotingProcess in which fans of the show threw shades at the organisers for manipulating the voting process by taking the powers away from fans. If viewers votes had counted Kaisha would not have been evicted as she placed fourth position from the bottom. The least votes were garnered by Neo, followed by Wathoni and Trikytee.

Viewers called out the organisers with some describing this year’s edition as a “scam, a fraud and something already rigged in favour of a preferred candidate.”

They wondered how somebody with the least votes would be allowed to stay while someone with superior votes tally would be sacrificed.

“This is not fair, the organisers are insulting viewers who spent their money and time voting,” yelled BonJohnny, a twitter user.

Fourteen of the housemates were nominated for possible eviction but Kaisha was among the four housemates that had the least number of public votes. With Kaisha’s out, 15 housemates are left to battle for N85m in the next seven weeks.
