Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed and the DBI President/CEO Prof. Mohammed Ajiya at the event

The Management of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) led by its President/CEO, Prof. Mohammed Ajiya, participated in the grand opening of AL-Muhibbah lnstitute of ICT and Entrepreneurship at Dutse, FCT Abuja.
The grand opening was organised by the Provost of Al-Muhibbah Institute, Mrs Ladi lbrahim Thomas, on 28th October 2021 at the Institute’s auditorium.
DBI a major stakeholder in the area of capacity building and knowledge development in the ICT sector was led by its President/CEO, Prof. Mohammed Ajiya in company of the Head, BD&CS Mrs Ngozi Nwoche, Head, Academic Programmes, Mrs Chinonye Ezenwoko, and Technical Assistant to the President/CEO Mr. Ifeacho Nwokolo.
Speaking at the event, the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, expressed his excitement at being part of such a novel event and commended the management of the institute, under the leadership of the Provost of the school, Mrs. Ladi Ibrahim Thomas, for charting a new course and taking up the challenges of human capital development in the ICT in a male-dominated sector. The Governor thanked the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri for facilitating the affiliation of the Institute to the University.
The Governor praised his wife, Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, who’s the Chairperson of the Governing Board of the Institute for being the brain behind the establishment of the institute. He congratulated the in-coming students and encouraged them to maximize the opportunity offered by the Institute and ensure that they become game-changers in the ICT industry
The event was well attended, impactful deliberations and suggestions can contribute immensely to the development of nation and improve the ICT and telecommunications space in Nigeria discussed.
