Arsenal are favourites to sign Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester with the midfielder valued in the region of £50million. Betting company, BetFair, placed the odds at 7/2, ahead of five other top European clubs.

But Arsenal will have to battle with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham for the signature of the highly rated Nigerian midfielder.

The Red Devils are second favourites at 4/1 ahead of Spurs who are priced at 6/1 to make a move for the Nigeria international.

Ndidi’s contract with Leicester expires in 2024 after he put pen to paper on a huge six-year deal in 2018.

Last year the 25-year-old responded to the transfer speculation and told ESPN: “We are doing well and I am enjoying myself here.

“I still have a contract with Leicester. I am learning and trying to improve myself every day and I am doing OK here, so no need to go anywhere.”

PSG, Liverpool and Chelsea are all outsiders to make move a move for Ndidi at this stage, reports the UK Sun newspaper.
