Peter Obi casting his ballot

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, says he is the most qualified presidential candidate, boasting that he will win the poll.

Obi voted at his polling unit 019, Ward 2, in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Obi, who spoke to journalists shortly after casting his vote, said the election was seamless.

He commended the deployment of the BVAS which he said functioned well in his polling unit. He however said he could not vouch for its efficiency in other areas across the country.

He said, “With what I have seen here today, the election is seamless and peaceful but I don’t know of any other place. I hope it would be the same in all places.”
