The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos Command, says its vehicle involved in an accident in Abuja on Friday was not carrying any election materials, contrary to reports in the media.
The Command’s spokesman, DSC Oluwaseun Abolurin, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday, in Lagos.
“The vehicle belongs to NSCDC Lagos Command. It was carrying some operatives and not election materials as is being speculated.
“One person died in the accident and others were injured,” he said. (NAN)
