Obi, the rising star from the East to end our national woes – Ezeife

Peter arrives Enugu

The first civilian Governor of Anambra state and Harvard trained Economist, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, has described the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, as God’s gift to Nigeria to help end our woes and enthrone justice, equity, fairness and explosive economic development for the nation.

Ezeife, leading top Igbo leaders that include the former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, said in an address at a Presidential rally in Enugu that Obi is the rising star from the East special made to lead Nigeria out of her multi-faceted challenges.
Dr Ezeife thanked many Nigerians who have seen and appreciated this star from the East and mentioned in particular Former President Olusegun Obasanjo whom he described as a highly detribalized visionary leader. He also thanked specially two elderly nationalists Edwin Clark of the Niger Delta and the Ayo Adebanjo of the Afenifere as well as the middle belt leader Dr Bitrus Pogus for their exceptional patriotism in endorsing Obi.

“God has molded him in a special way to solve Nigeria’s leadership challenges, he is young, energetic, vibrant with superior intellect”.
The former Anambra Governor further said that “ Peter is competent, has the capacity, capability and character. And he possesses the required skill, set knowledge and qualifications to navigate Nigeria away from her sociopolitical, economic and security challenges ”

Dr. Ezeife said that Peter Obi will restore the many years the locust has eaten, heal the land and build a new Nigeria. He will rebuild Nigeria to its original destiny of being superior among the nations.

He said that Obi’s support base and acceptance in every zone and tribe of the country make him the candidate for the unification and pacification of Nigeria.

Ezeife admonished Igbos who are angry over the outburst of some misguided persons against Obi candidacy not to be distracted but to remain focused because they will soon see reason and join the winning team. “ They are selfish and they are not speaking for our group interest, but they will soon see the truth, repent and bring resources to advance the project.

“ Ndigbo are supporting Peter Obi and Nigerians are ready to take back their country”
