Upset as Reading Rout West Brom, Hull Drag Arsenal to a Replay in English FA Cup

Admin February 20, 2016

Reading vs west bromChampionship Reading came from behind to earn a shock FA Cup fifth-round win over Premier League West Brom.

Darren Fletcher opened the scoring for the away side by drilling a low shot from inside the area into the corner.

Reading’s equaliser came through Paul McShane, who powered in a header. He could also have scored in the first half but shot narrowly wide.

Michael Hector nodded in the second for the hosts, before substitute Lucas Piazon stroked in the third late on.

Elsewhere, Hull City halted the strides of defending champion Arsenal when they held the premiership side to a scoreless draw at the Emirates. Everton bundled Bournemouth out of the competition with a 2-0 away victory while Watford pipped lowly Leeds by a lone goal.
