Justice Shedrack December 19, 2017

Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Aladeshonyin of Odo-Noforija Kingdom in Eredo Local Council Development Area told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that this would accelerate development in the area.

“We appreciate him for bringing life to the people of the community and to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

“This will reduce rural-urban migration as artisans and others will practice their trades within the area since there are basic necessities of life,’’ he said.

Ogunlaja said some of the modern infrastructure there includes: good road networks, constant power supply, security, the Sungbo Eredo tourist site, waterfront and other rich cultural heritages.

The traditional ruler also advised investors willing to invest in the community of a befitting and peaceful environment for their businesses.

The traditional ruler said willing investors could invest in: agriculture, hospitality, tourism, culture, arts and craft, fish farming and trading.

He said that if investors should invest there, they would be providing employment opportunities for its indigenes.

“We have many graduates seeking employment, investing in the community will open windows of opportunities to them.

“It will boost the economy of the community as many people will relocate there to do their business, ” he said.

It would also reduce the crime rate as youths would be engaged in various positive ventures that would be provided by entrepreneurs.
