Barely three days after an attack on Gartamawa community in Borno state, gunmen said to be Boko Haram terrorists have invaded Kwari community in Geidam, Yobe state, killing one Pastor Luka Levong of the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) and five others.

The terrorists were said to have invaded the community around 2.00 am on Friday and shot the pastor and his church treasurer Maina Abdullahi.

Locals said the other victims were killed in their separate houses one after the other before the arrival of security men.

The assailants did not only kill, thy also razed some buildings including a church and vehicles.

Geidam is located 177 kilometers away from Damaturu, the state capital, and is about 40 kilometres away from Nigeria/Niger Republic border.
