Kano State Fire Service has confirmed the drowning of a 17-year-old boy at Titin Jajira in Tofa Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.
Spokesman of the agency, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi stated that the service’s rescue team brought the boy out of a pond, but he was later confirmed dead by a doctor.
“The corpse was handed over to the police at Bachirawa Police Divisional headquarter,’’ he stated.
The fire service would continue to investigate the incident, Abdullahi added. (NAN)
