Hugo Odiogor
No fewer than six journalists practising in Nigeria have died within the past one week, the latest being Mr. Hugo Odiogor, a popular foreign affairs analyst and ex-Chairman, Vanguard Editorial Board. Odiogor died on Saturday after a protracted illness which had seen him travel to India.
The others are popular On Air Personality and radio anchor Dan Foster who fell to Covid-19, Xavier Ndah the Crime Editor of Daily Independent newspaper, Naomi Uzor, Aramide Praise, and Nkiruka Udoh of AIT/Ray Power.
Odiogor was until his death the President of Anioma Media Professional, a body of media practitioners of Anioma extraction in Delta State.
