Sheikh lists steps every Muslim must take this Ramadan to provoke Allah’s mercy

Popular Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Bello, has urged Muslim faithful to stay away from any kind of sin that could keep them away from God, especially during the period of the Ramadan. He stressed that staying away from sin would provoke Allah’s mercy.

From left, the Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Bello, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bomarah Group of Companies, Alhaja Idayat Bola-Muse, during the Annual Ramadan Lecture held in Lagos on Saturday.

Bello gave the advice during  the Annual Ramadan Lecture of Alhaja Idayat Bola-Muse, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bomarah Group of Companies, held in Lagos on Saturday.

The cleric said the Ramadan period should be used to get closer to Allah for their prayers to be answered by the Almighty.

He said that Islamic faithful should change their attitude positively towards all activities and believe that good things would fall in place.

“Allah said nothing is wrong with the situation, but people are responsible for the negative situations we are in right now.

“Everyone should be reminded that when we came to this world, we were naked, but Allah (God) enriched us as He wishes with money, successful children, shelter and richness.

“Allah said that if anyone refuses to appreciate Him for His kindness that He will not do more for such person.

“Everyone should be reminded at all times that we were created from sand and we shall all return to sand,” he said.

The sheikh said that Quran 102 verses 1 to 8  says that mankind will be pursuing life till we all enter our graves.

Bello said that Allah created mankind to worship and to fear Him, adding that Allah had destined all the money each person would spend, whether you say the truth or not.

The popular cleric also pleaded with Nigerians to continue to show mercy to one another. (NAN)
