Topmost PDP presidential aspirant, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim on Wednesday received the coalition of his support groups and told them that Nigeria would be glorious under his presidency.

The reception held at the Abuja national headquarters of the “Greater Nigeria 2023” project where a large crowd of the supporters gathered.

They were on solidarity march led by the National Coordinator of the supporters’ groups, Hon. Cally Anyanwu.

“I am very excited with your solidarity and support and I have confidence that together we are going to make Nigeria better when I become president of Nigeria.

“That Nigeria will be a new Nigeria where the government is competent to address the challenges facing the country and the citizens, one in which the people will see hope, feel hope and enjoy hope because their country is working.

“Hopelessness will vanish, fear and uncertainty will be removed from the everyday life of all Nigerians”, Anyim, the first aspirant to declare on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) promised.

The former President of the Senate went further to say, “Hon Cally has been telling me all the wonderful things you people have been doing for the Greater Nigeria 2023 project and I am excited.

“He will continue to liaise between me and you and anything he tells you, take it that it is from me.

“We are praying to God to take us to our destination and when we get there, you will see what I can do for the nation and for all of us”, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation promised.

The large crowd chanted solidarity and victory songs during the interactive session.

In a related development, the Ebonyi Diaspora Community on Wednesday also paid a solidarity visit to the frontline PDP aspirant, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim at the Greater Nigeria 2023″ project national headquarters in Abuja.

Led by their president, Pastor Francis Nwigwe, the group said they are solidly behind the ambition of Senator Anyim Pius Anyim because they believed that the former President of the Senator is the best person to govern Nigeria in 2023.

Pastor Nwigwe who disclosed that members of the Group are in many parts of the World also promised that they would support Anyim’s aspiration with prayers too.

Responding, Anyim thanked them for their commitment to the Greater Nigeria 2023 project and promised to make Nigeria better in 2023.
