Rivers State Sole Administrator presents 2025 budget of N1.48 trn to NASS ad-hoc committee

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas says the state’s 2025 budget estimates of 1.48 trillion Naira is designed to account for expenditures already undertaken by the suspended administration during the first quarter of the fiscal year.

Presenting the budget before the House Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight, the Sole Administrator noted that key allocations include N324.5 billion for infrastructure as well as N117 billion for pensions, gratuities and employee benefits.

The House Ad-Hoc Committee has scheduled a later date for sectoral defence of the Rivers Budget.
