President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday inaugurated some road projects in Jos, the Plateau capital.

Among the road projects inaugurated by the President, who is undertaking his first visit to Plateau since he assumed office 2015, are the Mararaba Jammaa -British American Junction Way, the Miango – Rafiki road, and the Secretariat junction flyover.

In brief speeches he delivered at all the points, Buhari commended Gov Simon Lalong for making the construction and renovation of roads his priority.

He also comended the quality of work, and urged other state governors to emulate their Plateau counterpart.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Buhari, who is on a 2-day visit to the north central state, had earlier been received on arrival at the Yakubu Gowon airport, Heipang, by Làlong and his Nasarawa counterpart, Tanko Almakura.
