President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated a scholar and community leader, Prince Adams Gbenoba, on his 80th birthday.
The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Friday in a statement, said Buhari who joined professional colleagues, family and friends of the octogenarian in celebrating him, commended the celebrator’s milestone.
He noted with delight Gbenoba’s worthy achievements in the development of education in the country as well instilling strong values of discipline, courage and focus in many of his students.
According to the president, many of the celebrator’s students have turned leaders in diverse sectors of Nigeria.
The President also commended Gbenoba for his relentless love for the unity of Nigeria and the well-being of all its citizens.
This effort, Buhari said the octogenarian carefully articulated in his articles, as well as counselling leaders in all his social and communal engagements.
According to him, the community leader’s value for acquiring and sharing knowledge remains a legacy that should always be emulated.
He also said that Gbenoba’s integrity, honesty and sense of patriotism would always be a guiding light for posterity.
The President prayed God almighty to grant Gbenoba longer life, good health and wisdom to continue serving Nigeria and humanity.
