Popular Nigerian Comedienne, Dr Helen Paul, on Friday advised women to take care of themselves adding that love for self was necessary.

This was in a post she shared on her Instagram page @itsHelenpaul while responding to an online story on married couple.

She wrote: wife, wife, wife please take care of yourself o.

According to her, freedom in some way is more important than love.

”Self love is quite paramount sometimes, and in some ways freedom is more important than love,” she added.

This was not the first time the Nollywood Actress would be advising young women.

The mother of four had also lent her voice during the Regina Daniel’s alleged union to an older man, Ned Nwoko in 2019.

She said Nigerians were paying too much attention to issues that were well sorted.

According to her, they should rather give more voice to the ailing issues facing the country.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, the comedienne asked for the right age a lady should get married.

Paul went on to blame Nigerian women and mothers who had condemned Regina’s alleged marriage in an outright manner.

According to Paul, if these Nigerian women badly wanted to tutor a child on what to do, they could adopt an orphan child.

She also made reference to older women whose marriages crumble in spite of their ‘maturity while urging people to stop judging women rather focus on other pressing issues in the country.(NAN)
