Ice Prince to be arraigned
Lagos Police Command spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin has reported the arrest of popular musician, Ice Prince, who was caught driving without licence.
On interrogation by the police about 3.00am Friday, he admitted to driving without licence and agreed to follow the officer to the police station. He however allegedly ‘abducted’ the officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him into the river.
Hundeyin confirmed this in a tweet: “At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
