Performance: NYCN wants President Buhari to hand over to youth

Admin December 20, 2017

December 20, 2017

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to hand over to a vibrant youth at the end of his tenure.
The National President of the council, Mr Murtala Gamji, made the call in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
Gamji scored Buhari high on performance so far and advised the president to hand over to a youth to sustain his achievements.
He also called on the president to take steps to create jobs for the youth in the country.
Gamji described Buhari as one of the best leaders the country had recorded so far, noting that “one thing that makes him standout is his integrity’’.
“The President’s integrity is affecting the country positively.
“Today, the International Community now respects us more,’’ he said.
On security, the NYCN president noted that there had been paradigm shift as the situation, especially in North East, was now better than what it used to be.
He said that the economy was being repositioned and the fight against corruption was yielding positive result.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is not doing badly.
“But we urge him to do more in the areas of job creation, as many youths are still unemployed.
“We shall continue to support his administration to achieve more.
“We hope and pray that after the tenure of President Buhari, the mantle of leadership will be handed over to a vibrant Nigerian youth,’’ Gamji said.
