Tragedy has befallen the entertainment industry as Ifeanyi Adeleke, the 3-year-old son of Music legend, Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, has reportedly drowned in a swimming pool in Davido’s Banana Island home on Victoria Island, Lagos.

The tragic death occurred on Monday, October 31. Little Ifeanyi had slipped into the swimming pool unnoticed and drowned. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Davido and Chioma had recently reunited after a spell of separation and had traveled to Ibadan for a family gathering. They reportedly left Ifeanyi with his minders.

The incident has created both pain and panic in Davido’s home and the police were said to have arrested those in whose custody the child was left.
