Osun Labour Party Candidate, Lasun alleges threat to life, recounts attack on his residence

July 11, 2022

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Yusuf Lasun, has said some gunmen  attacked his residence in Osun State.

The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives confirmed the attack while briefing reporters on Monday, hours after the incident was reported to have taken place.

The assailants, he explained, who stormed his residence at about 1am while shooting sporadically, came with the intent  to harm him.

He however noted that a team of police operatives have been drafted to his house and have since inspected the scene and taken custody of evidence.
