Oborevwori: Supreme Court Victory is Affirmation of Divine Mandate

A total victory, signed, sealed and delivered from the throne of grace does not just emerge suddenly from nowhere.

When you consult the Almighty God through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit of God in any activity, the conclusion is that it is done and nothing was going to stop it.

The Supreme Court’s verdict upholding the victory of our dear Governor, His Excellency Right Honourable Sheriff Orhowedor Oborevwori’s victory at the polls and at the lower court today is a fervent truth endorsed by the Almighty God Himself.  A confirmation of His Excellency’s consistent assertion that his victory at the polls is a divine mandate. One with God, as the saying goes, is a majority. The various levels of judicial contestations notwithstanding. A fait accompli, point finale! And this victory is sweet for so many reasons, aside being the end of the road for the swarming locusts of naysayers and spineless opposition.

Only a man who seeks God, fears God and hears from God can be so profoundly lifted like the Delta State Governor, Oborevwori. Therefore, it is not a coincidence that he was honoured with the “Defender of Faith and Life Encourager Award” by the Sapele Diocese of the Anglican Communion on Sunday January 15, 2024. A fresh unction of Grace to function with more divine inspirations.

For a high-performing Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori never had a low moment and was never distracted by the superfluous litigations across board. He never flinched in his extra job allotted to himself through absolute dedication and commitment, just as his entire team was fired up by the zeal as defined by the leadership zest of His Excellency’s work ethics and meeting of delivery targets.

In the midst of the legal storms, all of which are needless and senseless and clearly lacking in merit,  he discharged his  duties with the highest distinction, excellent mien and unassuming humility.

Looking at the futuristic innovations in governance and their positive effects, Governor Oborevwori has had his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme always working in tandem with him by playing very critically supportive roles as shown by their excellent relationship.

There is no doubt that the Supreme Court’s affirmation is the push-button for the unveiling of the political leadership and philosophy of the Governor. His leadership style acquired over the years as Speaker has been galvanized and enhanced specifically with a sense of modesty, humility and values. As the chosen one, the Governor is now free to fulfil the Biblical canon, “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven,” {Matthew 5:16}. This is the value of leadership.

He is a man that is committed to working for all the people of Delta State. This means that his focus will be geared towards unifying the diverse entities, opinions and segments of the state for a harmonious and prosperous Delta. This is the anchor of the aptitude and strength of the man,  Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State.

Now is the time to focus on the total delivery of the M.O.R.E. agenda. Right Honourable Sheriff Orhowedor Oborevwori is already a great achiever par excellence. With his Supreme Court victory, his first term in office will surely flourish and his second term also assured for guaranteed success by the hands of the Almighty God, from whom all good things come. Congratulations Sir.
