Former Governor Peter Obi, has congratulated Nigerian Muslims for witnessing the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fasting and urged them to use the opportunity pray to Almighty Allah for a better Nigeria.

Obi, who made the remark in his goodwill to the Muslim faithful, also urged them to use the holy month to make reflections and work towards a more united and peaceful Nigeria.

Obi reminded Muslims and other Nigerians that the nation is in dire straits, occasioned by economic uncertainties, ethnic tensions, spiraling insecurity, which can only be overcome by our commitment, and sacrifice and above all fervent prayers to Almighty God.
