NSF 2022: LASG receives Torch of Unity

As the ‘Delta 2022’ National Sports Festival (NSF) draws closer, the Lagos State Government on Sunday received the “Torch of Unity”, signifying the state readiness to compete at the fiesta holding in Asaba later this month.

The ‘Torch of Unity’ which continue its journey to the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory was received on behalf of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu by the Honourable Commissioner of Youth and Social Development, Olusegun Dawodu, at the Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.

The Commissioner was supported at the ceremony by Executive Chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission, Sola Aiyepeku; the Director General, Oluwatoyin Gafaar and other management staff of the Commission as well as athletes who will be representing the state at the 2022 NSF.

The 21st National Sports Festival will hold in Asaba, the Delta State capital from November 28 to December 10, 2022.
