NIGERIA GYMNASTS SHINE IN MALTA WITH 8 GOLD MEDALS, TARGET OLYMPIC GAMES QUALIFICATION

Seven young Nigeria gymnasts to the world club Championship are back in the country after winning 8 Gold, 7 Silver and 8 Bronze medals.

Led by International Gymnastics Federation certified coach, Tony Asuquo, Nigeria competed in categories D&E of the Championship promising renewed optimism on qualification for 2024 Paris games.

The gymnasts who represented the country are: Francisca Okpanku, Chinelle Okpanku, Shemilore Adeoye, Marononi Angela, Mmesoma Okafor, Chimamanda Okafor, Adela Adedeji and Anana Adedeji.

The gymnasts are between the ages 6 and 11.
