The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has published COVID-19, Nigeria situation report for 17th April, 2020
The NCDC announced this in a Twitter message on Saturday.
According to the situation report which provides a summary of the epidemiological situation and response activities in Nigeria, a total of 7153 samples have been tested across 20 States, including the FCT.
With 493 confirmed cases, 159 persons have been discharged with 17 confirmed fatalities recorded.
The NCDC noted that of the 493 confirmed cases, 210 (43%) had travel history, 175 (35%) had contact with those who travelled, 16 (3%) unknown sources, while 92 (19 %) incomplete.
