The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has condoled with the Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board over the demise of its pilgrim in Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Chairman/CEO, Malam Jalal Arabi, condoled the Kebbi board in a condolence message delivered by the Makkah Office Coordinator, Dr Aliyu Tanko on Sunday.

The condolence letter was presented to Kebbi board officials led by Alhaji Garba Takware, in Mecca on behalf of NAHCON.

The chairman expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the family and the people of Kebbi and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.

In his response, Takware thanked the leadership of the commission for the visit and prayed for a very successful Hajj operation.

Special supplication was offered for the repose of the souls of the deceased, other pilgrims and for Nigeria at large.

Those who accompanied the coordinator on the visit included Saudi Liaison Officer, Ustaz Abubakar Lamin, alongside other staff.

The deceased, who passed away on Saturday, 17th Dhul Qadah, 1445H equivalent to May 25, 2024, was buried according to Islamic rites in Mecca. (NAN)
