Mixed Feelings as PDP Reschedules All Primary/Congress Elections

Admin November 9, 2014

pdp-logoIt was a mix of both relief and outrage among candidates as the National Headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Saturday announced new dates for its primary/congress elections nationwide for the 2015 general elections.

A directive signed by Abubabakar Mustapha, its National Organising Secretary, said the National Working Committee acted “In exercise of its powers under Section 29 (2) (a) and (b) of the Constitution of our Great Party (2012 as amended).”

The ruling party said the new time-table replaces the one announced earlier. It also noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been notified of the review.
