A notice from the school announcing the feat read: “The management, staff and students of St Francis Secondary school proudly congratulate the class of 2025 for their exceptional performance in the 2025 UTME. This outstanding achievement powerfully reflects the spirit of the Magis – the desire to do more and be more – deeply rooted in over 500 years of Jesuit tradition of excellence in education and character formation.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated faculty and non-faculty staff whose tireless efforts contributed greatly to this success. Special thanks also go to the parents of the Class of 2025 for their unwavering support and encouragement. Together, we celebrate not only a moment of academic triumph but a legacy of excellence that will continue to inspire future generations of students in the Home of the Eagles.”

Master Ehenemba’s result reflects the technical flaws that defined the conduct of the 2025 UTME as admitted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). An established A-grader, he scored 300 in his mock UTME but was awarded a poor 171 in his flawed UTME that was later cancelled, thus underscoring the admission by JAMB registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, that there was a grave technical error that failed to match scores with performance.
