The Police Command in Benue has confirmed the arrest of one Matthew Bem for stabbing his wife to death during a fight in Korinya, Konshisha Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue state, on Tuesday.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Sewuese Anene, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi.
“He was fighting with his wife and he stabbed her during the fight and she died.”
She said Mr Bem was arrested and is in Police custody, adding that investigation is ongoing. (NAN)
