The Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF) has donated AI-Tech Centres to two secondary schools in Lagos as part of his vision to digitalise Nigeria in diverse aspects of human endeavour.
The schools are Gbagada Senior Grammar School and Lanre Awolokun High School Gbagada, with Lagos State government hailing the gesture as a credible way to equip young Nigerians with requisite skills that will make them globally competitive.
Political Economist reports that Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh also offered full university scholarship to the best students in the schools while admonishing the students to take advantage of the opportunity to become wealth creators in the increasingly dynamic digital age.
Mr. Ekeh who is the Chairman of Zinox Group, a conglomerate including Zinox Technologies, TD Africa, Task Systems, Konga, among others, told the hundreds of students who witnessed the event that technology offers them the most credible route to becoming billionaires and global change agents.
Political Economist reports recalls that this was not the first tech centre the Foundation is donating to Lagos schools. It had donated to other schools in the state including St Augustine University, Epe-Lagos.
Ekeh has also donated AI-Tech Centres to his alma mater, Holy Ghost College, Owerri; Imo State University; Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, etc.
