LASG announces registration for Creative Lagos training programme

The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has announced the commencement of registration for  the Creative Lagos initiative, a training programme for creative practitioners.

The ministry made the announcement in a series of tweets  on Wednesday.

According to the ministry, the training program is a partnership initiative between Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and a private firm, Del-York Creative Academy.

“Under this initiative, 1,000 Lagos residents will be trained and empowered from all 57 LGAs and LCDAs for the Creative Industry at no cost at all.”

“These creative-minded talents will be trained and empowered in Creative and Vocational sector For FREE!”

Successful candidates will receive training in the following courses:

Digital Filmmaking;
Fashion, Art & Crafts;
Documentary Filmmaking;
Digital Marketing;
Producing/ Business of Film and Television, and;
Film Post Production
