Ladi Lawanson, Commissioner LASMT

The Lagos State Drivers’ Institute, LASDRI, an agency of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, LASMT, is collaborating with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI to organise a one-day workshop themed: Promoting Road Safety in a Smart City by Continuous Drivers’ Education.

According to the Institute, the workshop slated for Tuesday, 29th January, 2019 at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, will create a platform for the training and certification of all professional drivers in the employment of both private and public sector organizations.

“It will enable relevant stakeholders to exchange views on how to ensure road safety culture in Lagos State. Participants at the workshop are expected from the private and public sectors of the economy and there will be an interactive session with the speakers. Side attractions are free medical check-up and eye test for drivers”.
