Oyibo Chukwu
The Labour Party candidate for Enugu East Senatorial district, Oyibo Chukwu, has been assassinated. Chukwu is a frontline challenger to Senator Chimaroke Nnamani and was said to be popular in his zone.
Oyibo, a lawyer was said to have been attacked while returning from a campaign trip in the Agbani area.
He was reportedly burnt inside his vehicle alongside three persons who were in the vehicle but it was not yet known how many of the occupants were killed.
