Konga Logistics targets No.1 Logistics position in Africa

Konga Logistics, the digital logistics arm of Nigeria’s composite e-commerce giant, Konga,  is investing billions of Naira in her ambition to take a commanding position in the challenging logistics sector in Africa.

Stakeholders believe that poor logistics is responsible for the retarded growth of e-Commerce and other movement of goods and services in Africa.

The company is budgeting N5bn annually for the next five years to achieve its ambition of becoming the leading logistics company in Nigeria and, by extension, Africa.

Indications are that the management of Konga Logistics has started taking delivery of new delivery assets from last quarter. Furthermore, the company did a test run on its nationwide delivery capacity for customers few weeks ago by delivering all materials meant for Nigeria’s 2023 Digital Census in record time and with zero accidents.

‘’This was clearly outstanding, and we have been commended for this,’’ disclosed Mr. Charles Udeozor, Head of Konga Logistics.

Continuing, he added: ‘‘This is the second time we are test running our capacity with hundreds of new trucks and vans powered by our latest technologies and responsible drivers. We presently provide rated services to a great number of quality clients who appreciate secure and time-bound services.

‘’The Board has mandated us and provided the appropriate resources to be the dominant player in this sector by 2024 and there is no going back.  With branches across the country, we want to be a one-stop logistics company that offers peace of mind.

‘’Yes, we are responsible for all group deliveries nationwide, but we are also silently the logistics provider for small logistics companies and manufacturers who appreciate quality and timely services,’’ he concluded.
